TestGorilla vs. Glider AI: Candidate experience and company branding

It’s important your candidates have a seamless and memorable experience throughout your hiring process. Otherwise, qualified applicants could drop out of your hiring pipeline.

So your pre-employment screening software should offer features to make the assessment process easier for candidates. It should also enable you to add your company’s brand to your assessments.

The candidate experience with TestGorilla

TestGorilla delivers an outstanding candidate experience. Applicants can take an assessment on any device whenever it’s convenient for them. They don’t need to sign up for TestGorilla to get started.

Most of our tests are 10 minutes long, and a full assessment typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. For many candidates, our assessments take less time than fine-tuning a resume or writing a cover letter.

You can use TestGorilla to update candidates about their status in your hiring pipeline with just a few clicks. Applicants who take English-language assessments can create a TestGorilla account to view their scores.

TestGorilla also caters to candidates around the world by letting them demonstrate their skills in their native language. You can offer assessments in 12 languages.

To make your assessments more memorable, TestGorilla enables you to add your company’s logo, colors, and other details. You can also introduce your company with a short video before candidates start their assessment.

The candidate experience with Glider AI

Glider AI enables candidates to take some tests on mobile devices, while programming tests must be completed on a computer. Applicants don’t need to sign up for a Glider AI account to complete their assessment. Tests range in length from 10 to 60 minutes.

TestGorilla vs. Glider AI: Anti-cheating measures

Cheating can give candidates an unfair advantage and skew the results of your pre-employment screening process. Top platforms offer robust anti-cheating measures to ensure assessment results accurately reflect applicants’ skills.

TestGorilla’s anti-cheating measures

TestGorilla offers several measures to prevent cheating, including the following:

  • Time limits on tests, which limit candidates’ ability to research answers

  • Question cycling, which ensures different questions appear every time an applicant takes a test

  • Disabled copy and paste, which makes it more difficult for candidates to share questions

  • Screen recording (with a candidate’s permission) so you can see their screen throughout the assessment

  • Alerts if a candidate leaves the test page, which could indicate they’re researching answers

Glider AI’s anti-cheating measures

Glider AI requires candidates to display photo ID before beginning an assessment. It can also record a candidate’s screen (with their permission) and issue alerts if a test-taker switches to another screen during their assessment.

At the end of each assessment, Glider AI automatically assigns each candidate a cheating probability score.
