TestDome pros and cons

TestDome is a testing and skills assessment platform designed for human resources managers, recruiters, and hiring teams.  

One of TestDome’s good features is an applicant tracking system for an efficient recruitment process. It also offers technical and soft-skills assessments to help you evaluate your candidates properly.

However, TestDome has some issues.

1. Missing anti-cheating features

TestDome does have some anti-cheating features. IP address logging helps to stop candidates from making multiple attempts to complete a test. 

It also has candidate location logging, webcam snapshots during testing, and copy/paste disablement. 

However, it’s missing other important features designed to stop candidates from cheating, such as mouse tracking, full-screen mode (to prevent a candidate from researching during testing), and randomized questions.

2. Not mobile-friendly

Many candidates appreciate the flexibility of doing tests on their mobile devices. 

However, TestDome assessments have to be completed on a laptop/desktop.

This can be problematic for hiring managers or recruiters in a candidate-driven market, such as when hiring the best software developers.

3. No phone support team
