E-commerce Marketing Specialist (Shopify + Klaviyo)

Remote / Full-time Independent Contractor

Compensation: $2,000–$2,500 USD/month (based on experience)

About Us

We’re a small, mission-driven e-commerce team led by Rocky Kanaka, We operate three purpose-led Shopify brands. Everything we do supports a bigger cause: helping pets in need. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to bring creative, high-impact campaigns to life.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative-yet-technical e-commerce marketer who knows how to turn Shopify and Klaviyo into conversion machines. You’ll own the execution of marketing campaigns, optimize upsells and subscriptions, and support launches across multiple storefronts.

You’ll be the right-hand person to the Head of Marketing and collaborate with a small team of designers, product managers, and e-commerce specialists. This role requires someone who’s flexible, fast-moving, resourceful, and able to work autonomously.

What You’ll Do

Shopify & Optimization

  • Add and optimize products, bundles, and landing pages across 3 Shopify stores

  • Manage and improve apps like Appstle Subscribe & Save, One Click Upsell, and Bundles to increase AOV and retention

  • Keep upsells fresh and conversion paths optimized

  • Continuously audit and improve the customer journey with a CRO (conversion rate optimization) mindset

Email & Flows (Klaviyo)

  • Monitor and improve Klaviyo flows across all brands

  • Manage segmentation, A/B testing, and email engagement

  • Automate subscription and loyalty flows

Campaign & Merchandising Support

  • Support seasonal and last-minute campaigns (e.g., Barksgiving, Black Friday)

  • Coordinate homepage updates, banners, and announcements

  • Use Canva (light usage) when the graphic designer is unavailable

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify and Klaviyo experience

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce marketing and digital merchandising

  • Comfortable switching between creative strategy and technical execution

  • Extremely organized, independent, and proactive

  • Fluent in English and able to work partially or fully overlapping Pacific Time (PST)

  • Bonus if you love dogs 🐶
