Job Description
This is a remote position.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including Quickbooks Online maintenance and general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, various reconciliations, and sales tax calculations.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Work with management on special projects to improve financial reporting.
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, supplier invoice audits, and other financial accounts.
Monitor financial performance by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing timely and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with management to develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Implement and maintain a robust system of internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and safeguard company assets.
Help streamline our processes and systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes. We love to automate things and use the best technology tools to make your life easier!
Stay current on e-commerce industry trends, accounting best practices, and changes in financial regulations that may impact the company.
It is challenging but fun work that requires a lot of time and task management, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a reasonable amount of people skills, while working autonomously.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
C/ACPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce
Proficient in Quickbooks Online
Advanced Excel Skills (v and x lookups, pivot tables, charts etc) for Management Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Self starter with an inquisitive mind.

Available US Central Business hours
Full time 40 hours per week
