The Logistics Manager oversees the entire supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This role involves managing transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution, while coordinating with vendors and internal departments to meet customer demands.
Plan, implement, and oversee logistics operations including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
Coordinate and monitor supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and transport companies.
Optimize routing and delivery systems to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Resolve issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare logistics performance reports.
Manage a team of logistics staff and provide training as needed.
Implement safety standards and best practices in logistics operations.
Develop strategies for improving logistics processes and reducing costs.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS).
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Office and warehouse environments.
