We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain data in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of data confidentiality.
Enter data from source documents into prescribed formats using keyboards or scanners
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any incompatibilities
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper storage of documents
Verify entered data with source documents to ensure accuracy
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform regular backups
Respond to data-related inquiries and provide administrative support as needed
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a related field
Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and data programs
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience with database systems or CRM platforms
Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures
