The Technical Operations team at VIOOH is responsible for the day to day 24x7 operational application management and second-line support of all client and partner facing services, which are developed in-house by our engineering team.
Supported by the Service Desk (acting as first-line support) and the SRE team (who maintain the virtualized infrastructure), you will be responsible for all in-life application maintenance and support, from release through to decommissioning. This includes deploying new code and hotfixes, monitoring and reporting, and driving continuous improvement in processes and procedures. You'll champion service continuity, reliability, performance, resilience, and security—while leveraging automation to streamline operations, reduce manual overhead, and enhance overall system efficiency.

Identifying and resolving issues in line with SLA’s
Possessing specialist knowledge of SQL databases and cloud-hosted software
Providing technical support, analysing and debugging issues
Assisting with systems integrations
Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules
Maintaining and updating technical documents, procedures & runbooks
Work with other internal teams (Account Managers, Product, Development)
Delivering regular and customised training to teams within the business
Keeping stakeholders informed of status and progress through the Service Desk and/or other appropriate channels
Developing reports and dashboards for teams across the business
Monitor applications/services and react accordingly
Working knowledge of SQL Databases (MySQL preferred), basic networking, and HTTP/HTTPS, and REST APIs
Working knowledge of React especially using Retool
Knowledge of ITSM tools
Working knowledge of Linux
Ability to learn employer-specific software to a high level of proficiency
Working knowledge of AWS Analytics
Understanding of and knowledge of RPA’s
Industry experience of logging especially using DataDog and/or Kibana
Experience working with languages such as JavaScript, Clojure, Python is desirable
Industry experience in Programmatic and Adtech is desirable
ITILv4 Foundation certification desirable
Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
