We’re developing a software solution for service-based businesses in Nigeria, such as salons, spas, gyms, hotels, and shortlet apartments, to help them handle payments, bookings, expense tracking, loyalty programs, and promotions seamlessly.
We’re looking for a Market Researcher to help us validate this idea by understanding business needs, identifying key pain points, and gathering insights that will shape product direction before development.
Conduct surveys and interviews with target businesses
Analyze feedback and summarize major problems and trends
Research competitors and existing software solutions
Provide recommendations on key features, pricing, and market entry strategy
Experience in market research, customer discovery, or data analysis
Familiar with Nigerian SMEs (especially service-based businesses)
Strong communication and interviewing skills
Able to use tools like Google Forms, Excel, or Airtable
Self-driven and able to deliver actionable insights
Duration:2–3 months (freelance/contract)
Location: Nigeria - Remote (some field work will be required)
