Inspect and maintain cleanliness of vehicles, ensuring they meet company specifications.
Accurately complete all required administrative records.
Report any concerns regarding equipment/vehicle safety and operational efficiency to management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to all Food Safety measures.
Ensure the warehouse and fridge area is kept clean and orderly.

Verify orders during loading, ensuring accuracy in product selection, labelling, and documentation on load sheets.
Notify management or Quality Control (QC) of any stock issues, missing items, or non-conformances.
Oversee and participate with the Procurement Supervisor in conducting and recording weekly and monthly stock takes in Palladium; investigate discrepancies and report concerns to management.
Oversee receipt of supplier deliveries, ensuring stock accuracy and correct paperwork submission to Accounts, Administration, or QC.
GRV stock into the system using the Goods Received system in Palladium.
Ensure accurate recording, labelling, and issuing of products to production.
Manage the receipt of finished products from production, ensuring proper recording and labelling.
Coordinate and manage daily driver schedules and activities.
Work closely with QC and Sales Support teams to optimize efficiency and forecast requirements.
Conduct daily temperature and condition checks for the main fridge and reefers.
Maintain an organized and clean refrigeration area, ensuring all products are properly labelled and follow FIFO principles.
Report any deviations affecting food safety.
Process return sheets for approved product returns, including expiry dates and quantities.
Oversee and supervise stock control for the Warehouse and Bulk Fridges.
Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean and free from obstructions, with tools and machinery stored safely.
Dispose of excess packaging materials promptly.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on the generator, ensuring regular oil and water changes with records maintained.
Operate the spray ball system daily per the cleaning schedule.
Adhere to opening and closing procedures.
Assist in the recruitment of department staff as needed.
Manage warehouse and logistics staff regarding attendance, disputes, and internal communication.
Pre-approve leave requests and submit for final management approval.
Provide coaching and training, ensuring adherence to the company’s disciplinary code of conduct.
Complete probationary checklists for new employees within the department.
Ensure proper stock rotation and adherence to FIFO procedures.
Maintain the safe handling, transportation, and delivery of food products per food safety regulations.
Ensure vehicle and driver licenses are current; notify management of upcoming renewals.
Verify that drivers have valid licenses for assigned vehicles, including those using company vehicles intermittently.
Implement and enforce a daily vehicle condition checklist signed by the driver.
Report all damages or accidents immediately.
Ensure all company vehicles remain up to date on servicing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and FIFO stock management.
Experience managing teams, including training, performance monitoring, and disciplinary actions.
Proficiency in inventory management systems, preferably Palladium.
Valid driver’s license and experience handling logistics operations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational needs.
