Technical Project Manager

Overview

MosierData is seeking a part-time Technical Web Project Manager who loves bringing order to creative chaos.

You’ll oversee web development and digital system projects across our Find, Grow, Dominate, and Evolve service tiers, helping service-based businesses build systems that work better, not harder.

This role is ideal for a disciplined, tech-savvy project manager who thrives in dynamic environments, loves solving operational puzzles, and finds joy in helping teams deliver clean, efficient, and reliable outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead multiple web and digital system projects from discovery to deployment, maintaining momentum, clarity, and accountability. Projects range from simple WordPress website updates to mission-critical database-driven web software projects

• Translate chaos into clarity — organize deliverables, define timelines, and establish repeatable processes that keep technical and creative teams aligned.

• Manage technical workflows using platforms such as Clickup and Github to ensure task prioritization, milestone tracking, and proactive issue resolution.

• Bridge communication between technical developers, strategists, and client-facing team members to ensure smooth collaboration and minimal rework.

• Facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives — driving continuous improvement within our Agile-lite delivery framework.

• Document processes and deliverables clearly, ensuring system repeatability and knowledge continuity.

• Monitor and mitigate risks early through dependency tracking, change control, and proactive problem-solving.

• Mentor junior contributors to promote responsibility, clear communication, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven project management experience in PHP/Laravel web development or a digital agency environment.

• Demonstrated success stabilizing or improving operations in high-change or disorganized settings.

• Hands-on familiarity with modern PM and communication tools (Clickup, Slack, Loom, or similar).

• Technical fluency — comfortable discussing HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, and basic hosting concepts with developers.

• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal), especially across remote and cross-cultural teams.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented with a bias toward clarity over chaos.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience managing AI-powered or automation-driven web projects.

• Familiarity with CRM/marketing integrations (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or custom automations).

• Understanding of EEAT-focused web strategy (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).

• Comfort with technical SEO and digital performance metrics.

Compensation & Structure

• Part-Time, Remote (10–20 hours/week to start)

• Flexible hours, deliverable-based accountability

• Open to candidates in English-speaking, cost-effective regions (South Africa, Philippines, Eastern Europe, Latin America, etc.)

• Potential to expand into a full-time or leadership role as MosierData scales its development operations.
