Maine Capital, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Tech Operations Specialist to own, manage, and optimize our internal technology systems. This role is crucial in helping us operate smoothly and scale effectively by leveraging automation tools like Zapier, API integrations, and platform management across Slack, Property Meld, and other systems. This is a remote role with flexible hours, perfect for someone who loves solving tech challenges and building better workflows.
Tech Systems Management & Automation: Own and manage the internal tech stack, ensuring tools like Slack, Property Meld, and Google Workspace are running optimally while driving automation for efficiency.
API Integration & Workflow Automation: Design, build, and maintain advanced automations and integrations using Zapier and APIs to streamline key business processes.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal tech issues, providing quick and effective solutions to keep our operations running smoothly.
Process Documentation & Optimization: Create clear documentation of all tech processes, automations, and best practices to ensure scalability and clarity across the organization.

Highly skilled with Zapier and experienced with API integrations.

Expert-level experience with Zapier (required).
Strong understanding of API integrations.

Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Make, Airtable, Hubspot).
Basic coding skills (JavaScript, Python) for API customization.
Cybersecurity best practices knowledge.
Previous experience working in a remote team environment.
Within 30 Days:
Gain full understanding of Maine Capital’s tech stack and workflows.
Audit existing Zapier automations and document current systems.
Within 60 Days:
Implement key workflow improvements and automations to reduce manual tasks.
Resolve all outstanding tech issues across the organization
Within 90 Days:
Fully own and manage internal tech operations.
Deliver complete documentation of all systems and processes.
Proactively identify new automation and optimization opportunities.
This Role Will Own:
All internal tech systems management.
Automation and workflow optimization.
Troubleshooting and tech support for the team.
Documentation of tech processes.
This Role Will Not Own:
Client-facing IT support.
Hardware procurement or in-person tech setup.
Company-wide cybersecurity strategy (but will support best practices).
Hourly rate DOE (Dependent on Experience). This is a part-time, remote role with flexible hours.
